A couple weeks ago, we talked about how you should open your cover letters. Today, we’re talking about closing lines.

The closing line of your cover letter is important because it summarizes your qualifications, restates your interest, and informs your employer how you prefer to be contacted.

A few of my favorites:

  • I look forward to learning more about how I can contribute to your team. Please give me a call between 8am and 4pm at 555-555-5555.
  • My skills and employment history make me an ideal match for this position and I’m excited to discuss what I can bring to your team. Please email me to schedule an interview.
  • With a robust work history that lines up perfectly with your desired qualifications, I believe I’m the ideal candidate for this position. Please call me at 555-555-5555 to set up an interview.

Need some assistance with your cover letter? Let me know! I’d be happy to help you craft the perfect closing line.
